Ps3 Hdmi Denon Avr-1609 PS3 Component Cables Into A Receiver, Not Showing Up On Projector Throught HDMI Output?

PS3 component cables into a receiver, not showing up on projector throught HDMI output? - ps3 hdmi denon avr-1609

I have a PS3 with HD component cable going to a Denon AVR-688. There is an HDMI cable to my Epson 1080UB projector. I get the message that it is not a sign. I have also tried using an HDMI cable from the PS3 into the receiver and get the same results. I know that the projector is good, because my DVD player to the receiver via an HDMI cable connected. The PS3 works on my TV from another, the same receiver, but the result is set by the HD cable. Suggestions?

Unfortunately, I do not think the AVR-688 that can encode the analog component to digital HDMI signal that is a function on top-end models from Denon. You must use the HDMI, but the problem could be that your PS3 is not configured correctly for HDMI connection. Remove the AV cable that came standard with PS3 and hook to a standard TV is, so you can access the menu. Under the display settings of the system guides you through configuring the HDMI connection. The problem is that if you have selected the correct settings, the screen goes black on you (the PS3 has its production) has now been amended, but must accept a confirmation of changes to move the cursor to the right and press X confirm the settings (You 'll it blindly). Once done, you reconnect to the Denon receiver to ensure that the Denon is configured so that the signal via the HDMI input button you chose for the PS3 and it should be good to go.

I have the same receiver. Not able to convert between component and HDMI. To use the component video for the PS3, you must connect the receiver to your TV with component video.

The PS3 should be able to use HDMI. The PS3 detects that you are using an HDMI cable, and configured automatically. Of course, this would mean that you are connected to the receiver configured to have to use the HDMI port on the PS3 in.

Try to take the HDMI cable and connected a DVD player to the PS3. If that fails, maybe PS3 HDMI connection does not work. If it works, then perhaps you are using the HDMI cable is bad, or 2 Receiver HDMI port is disabled, you (the input menu of the receiver) can activate or bad.
