Petin not allow that to dictate Germany's policy in Vichy. Started for the Prime Minister hand over the Germans, the French riots could have overthrown and his government. He did not just happen in this world. Remember that the French had two (2) The war with Germany since 1873 and has lost two of those wars. It was a macho thing.
I remember he was still being arrested and convicted and sentenced for war crimes after the war.
I was under pressure, so that the Germans have tried to keep French citizens
